IRRFAN KHAN - THE UNDAUNTED SOUL




The news of the sad demise of Irrfan Khan has come to most of us like the bolt from the blue.In fact, the actor was undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumor,but no one expected  him to leave this mundane world so soon at the age of 53.The Bollywood star died today ,the 29 th of April2020 in Mumbai in the ICU, Kokilaben Dhirubha iAmbani Hospital due to colon infection.The tragedy lies in the starking fact that he lost his dear mother only last week and failed to attend the last rites because of restriction arising out of Covid19
The star will remain immortal in the minds of his fans for his contribution to hindi ,english and bengali as well as in other regional language.He was born in the Northern State of Rajasthan and had immense passion for drama and film.He attended the National School of Drama  in New Delhi.
His laudable role in "Life of Pi","Slumdog Millionaire "brings out his classic participation in the domain of filmdom. He gained national recognition  and reputation  in the films "Life in A Metro" and "The Lunchbox".Who will forget his mind boggling  acting as a police officer in "SlumdogMillionaire"which added 8 Academy Awards and BAFTAawards to his cap of success.?
His star- struck role in"Life of Pi"won him multiple GoldenGlobes and Academy Awards .In US films,  he played the pivotal supporting roie in "TheAmazing SpiderMan","Jurassic World ":and "Inferno".The film "English Medium"will indubitable usher in a new insight in the world of cinematography.
The passing away of a genius ,prematurely  will bring about a vacuum  in the film world .The hero never dies , he lives and lives on in the minds of the film lover permanently
Let his soul rest peacefully.
